The machine is designed keeping in view the stringent safety mechanisms for Guillotines and Three Knife Trimmers by ISO/CE. High Grade Cast Iron structures, engineered for maximum Rigidity and durability to be used for the main frames. Various electro mechanical safety devices should be used for attaining the zero-failure conditions. Speed controlled through the electronic drive and plc controls. The book clamp is with an adjustable clamping pressure through hydraulics. For higher productivity machine runs on auto mode Clutch and brakes system is incorporated with spring action, which applies zero-zero stop brake in case of power failure or operations not in accordance with the safety procedures. The Trimming and Approach angle of the knives is optimized. First the two side knives come down and go up after trimming, when the fore edge knife starts coming down. All doors are fitted with interlock safety switches which ensures highest safety of operations. The front Knife is shielded with a cover to give protection during clamp, knife changes and routine maintenance. There is a separate operational mode called “Knife Changing Mode” in order to ensure the safety. The quick Knife Change system is easy to operate and save considerable lead time.
